Hello,

I am using internet explorer and I am have some minor problems that I need
help to resolve. I deleted several temporary files and now I cannot get my
Internet Explorer to come up. What is happening is I get "about blank" in
the address line and I have to manually type msn.com. What can I do to
eliminate this problem?

Sincerely,

Users of IE7 are asked to post their comments to
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In your newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

So, what you are saying is that when you first start up IE, your home page
doesn't load and you have to manually type it in? If so, then it sound like
your homepage setting has been set to "Blank". Tools...Internet
Options...General tab is where that setting is.

Or are you saying that you cannot click a link to make a page come up - it
just comes up blank, and you have to type in the address box where you want
to go?

What version of Windows are you using? What "temporary" files did you
delete, and why?

Follow-up to IE 7 newsgroup per the above.....
