What version of Windows are you using? What kind of problems are you having
(error messages, etc.) that lead you to want to reinstall IE? There could
be a fix that wouldn't require you to go through the hassle of reinstalling
IE.

Need more info to help. Here's a site with tips on how to make a good post

I am using windows xp. I changed isp's and every since then, when I open
IE6, it pops of "page cannot be displayed", earthlink walked me through the
setup for IE6, and told me I need to reinstall IE6, unfortunately, I don't
have my disc! The only way I can go online is MSN OR AOL. I believe some of
the IE6 files are missing. Please help!!!

When you open IE and get the "page cannot be displayed" error - is it just
your home page, or can you navigate the web from there? If it's just your
home page, go to Tools...Internet Options...General tab and change it

If it's all pages, see this site for possible help:

Try this: Start...Run...type in "iexplore /rereg" (no quotes), click Okay.
This will reset lots of IE associations in your registry.
