Internet Explorer 6 Won't Load Links that Require a New Window

All of the sudden any link that runs a script to open in a new window, a new window opens but the site does not load. When i hit refresh it loads fine. This is a lso true when i right click on a link and select "Open in New Window". I have tryed re-installing internet explorer 6 and it has not solved this problem. Everything else seems to function normally, and this is more of a nuisance than a problem. Hope some one can help!

was having the same problem and i tried to un instal
internet explorer butthrough the control panel (add/remove
programs), and it gave me the option to fix problems, I
clicked yes and it prompted me to reboot and that fixed
it. Just try that (fix problem) I hope it works for you

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
