Internet explorer 6 with windows XP

When I type an address in to my internet explorer i.e.
cnn.com I get this message 302 Not Found trying using
http://cnn.com. Basically I have to type http:// in front
of all web address that I want to visit. My ISP says that
everything is fine on their end. Any ideas?

Check the below Registry entries vs. yours:
