Had trouble with Help Troubleshooters. I uninstalled the
IE6SP1. I downloaded IE6SP1 and installed it. The IE now
looks different. I don't get a Blue Progress bar when
downloading. Also, after reinstalling IE6 my AOL program
crashed. AOL did a fix and it seems OK. What did I do
wrong? Help Troubleshooters do not work. Rest of Help is
OK.
Any Help would be appreciated.

Which OS? What is your version and identifying details for module
hhctrl.ocx

From a previous reply to this newsgroup about:

<title>KB811630 - HTML Help Update to Limit Functionality When It Is Invoked with the window.showHelp( ) Method</title>

<quote>
The odd thing I found is that it appears that 818529 regressed
811630's versions of hhctrl.ocx. (I removed 818529 reapplied
811630 and reapplied 818529 to confirm this.)

Reapplying 811630 restored the correct version of hhctrl.ocx
but I still needed to re-register it before the error symptoms stopped.

818529 does make reference to 811630 but doesn't make
it clear that a regression can occur. I would also like to know
why reinstalling 811630 wouldn't do its own re-registration.
One of those articles should be amended to inform us that
manual re-registration is required if that is the case.
