Can anyone tell me how to get my url bar back? I cannot type in a url in IE because I lost the url bar somehow
I have a google search bar, but I no longer have the IE url bar. I have no idea how that happened, or how to get it back
It happened very recently, I just opened IE the other day, and noticed it was gone. I can only access the pages I have bookmarked and then explore from there, or use the google search button to type in a url, but I dont have the url bar that I should have with my IE
Anyone have any suggestions
Thanks you very much in advance for your expert assistance

Go to View->Toolbars and check Addressbar. You can also check Lock Toolbar
if you want it ensure it stays put.

Right click an empty space on the toolbar and make sure that the Address Bar
is selected. If the Lock Toolbar is selected, remove that check mark. If
this does not bring the address bar back, it's likely hidden off the screen.

Look at the right side of the toolbar for a small, vertical dotted line that
shows "Address", move the cursor over this line until it turns into a double
arrow. Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the address bar to the
left.

Irronically, I am having the same problem. I did what
you suggested and nothing happens. I'm not able to
expand the box that says "Address". I have no "double
arrow".

Ok, Yeah!!! That worked for me!!!
