hello

How can one upgrade IE 6 browser to SP1 as a separate task, since one W2K3
system is not ready for Windows SP1 upgrade?

There's stand-alone IE 6 SP1 for Windows XP but not for W2K3

Thanks

Hong

A rush in writing the base (confusing) note, here goes again

Currently, IE 6.0.3790.0 is in use with W2K3 i.e. both without any service
pack.
This system is not ready for Windows 20003 SP1 upgrade and yet its IE
browser needs IE 6 SP1 upgrade to overcome some security problem.

How can it upgrade to the required IE version 6.0.3790.1830, without doing
W2K3 SP1 upgrade?

Thanks

Hong

You have me confused.
Isn't the version of IE with Windows 2003 a higher version that IE6
SP1?
