My IE 6.0 does not work at all; I need to reinstall the program; I do NOT
have the XP disk because it was preinstalled when I bought the PC. Can some
one please help me?

No, it's not due to hijackers. It all started when I installed GhostSurfPro
on my PC. I could never get that program to operate correctly so I
uninstalled it. Now my IE and my Opera browsers do not work at all; from
Opera I get the message: 'Could Not Connect To Proxy Server, Access Denied.'
When I try to use IE, I get, 'Invalid Syntex Error: The Page Can Not Be
Displayed.' I tried to work with my AOL Tech help but they in the end told
me to go to Microsoft Support. I am backing up all myh flies now and I may
use my PC's Restore CD, but backing up will take forever and a day.

Most sources consider Ghost Surf (or at least v2 and earlier) /itself/ to be
hijackware (e.g., keyloggers)! Most anti-spyware apps block tenebril.com.

I remain confident that reinstalling IE won't help at all, Eddie.
