Need help. After installing IE6 I noted this.
I alway create a folder on the desktop in my computer and I put in this
folder all the applications I used every day, so I don't have to go looking
for them. So I always keep my folder (APPLICATION) open. On IE5 or older
when you leave folder open and shutdown your computer. Next time you start
up you computer windows remember the last position and setting of folder and
icon where they were.
After installing IE6 windows do not remember the last position and setting
of folder so all folder that were left open when you shutdown the computer do
not stay open on start up.
If anyone have a fix for this problem or point me to an article or so please
advice.
Open My Computer or Windows Explorer, click on Tools, click on Folder
Options, click on View, scroll down, put a tick in the box that says
"Restore previous folders windows on logon" and that should do the trick.<<
