Windows XP Internet Explorer 6 not detected by web sites

Hello,

I´m using Internett Explorer version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp.sp2_gdr.050301-1519 under Windows XP Professional SP2.

When I try to access to some sites (like Hotmail, Yahoo mail beta, Officeupdate.com, etc.) these sites don't recognize the correct version of my browser.

All these sites give some warning message like "You need Inetrnet Explorer version 5.0 or later to see this page"

I'm using Norton Antivirus 2005 and Zone Alarm Security Suite version 6.1.737.000

I've tried unistalling Zone Alarm and Norton Antivirus but the problem persist.

I re-installed the SP2 but nothing happens.

Please, if anybody can help me, I will appreciate it.

Try downloading and reinstalling IE6: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/downloads/default.mspx

If that doesnt work just get Mozilla Firefox, its about the same: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
