hello.....I am having a problem with IE locking up. I get the message
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the incovenience. If you were in the middle of something, the
information you were working on might be lost. For more information about
this error, click here." When I click on the message, it displays this error
signature : "Event Type : InPageError P1 : c000009c P2 : 00000003".
Then it lists 2 files that are included in the error report....here they are:
c\DOCUME~1\Erik\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER33f0.dir00\iexplore.exe.mdmp and
\appcompat.txt
When this problem first started, I did find that deleting temp internet
files helped, but only for a short while. Whe I do delete the temp internet
files, it seems to never finish, and I get an error message as follows:
{An exception occured while trying to run
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetcpl.cpl",Internet Options"}
Also, I tried running a spyware/adware program and it has gotten better, but
I still have the problem.
I have found that Mozilla Firefox works with no problems at all.
Any help that can be provided would be GREATLY APPRECIATED......thanks.
Erik
