I have been experiencing a problem with Internet Explorer
6 for a couple of weeks now. I can go from web page to web
page with no problems, then all of a sudden it hangs up or
freezes up. The page stops downloading, the cursor changes
to a hand, I can't scroll on the scroll bar, and I can't
type anything into the address bar. If I wait a minute or
two, it unfreezes and the page downloads. Does anybody
know what is causing this? Any solutions? Thanks in
advance. Mark. (e-mail address removed)

Yes I am having the same problem with my IE 6.0 with all
the most critical updates. The page freezes and I cannot
scroll or do anything until it catches up. The weird
thing is that the progress bar is full and then also
freezes. I hope someone else has experienced this and may
have a couple tricks for us to try.

I am having the same problems too, I think. I've noticed
that when I open the "Windows Task Manager" the CPU usage
is up to 100%. I look into processes and "System Idle
Process" or "svchost.exe" are using a lot of resources.
I hope this helps someone to fix this problem, because I
would really like to know.

Other parasites will use svchost also.
