I start to receive messages and./or delete messages then the mail function freezes up. Any message that I deleted is not deleted and comes back into the in box. If I open messages in the in box then it freezes up and says Internet Explorer 6 is not responding. ISP checked and says it is not on their side.....I reloaded IE 6 and this did not work. My messages are always showing as receiving and they have grown to an outstanding number but I can not deleted or access them....what can I do.

No enough information. I.E. is not a mail program, unless you are using a
Webmail email, like Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. Outlook Express is a mail program
generally used to download and read/reply to email messages. If it stops
receiving mail or mail you delete comes again, you probably have a corrupt
or too large email message that cannot be downloaded. If your ISP has a web
interface to your server mailbox, you can log in there and delete any that
you have already received and any that you think may be too large or
corrupt. If it displays size, great. You might also look for messages that
have to subject.
