You can get a plain vanilla popup stopper freeware from Panicware:
http://www.panicware.com/product_psfree.html
Install, reboot - if the persistent popups continue, you may have more
serious issues.

Please post back with your findings.

Hello,
First of all, on the web these days the only way to
get any control of pop-ups is to get a pop-up blocker.
www.zonelabs.com has an excellent trail version that stops
all pop ups, you can always get reg-cleaner also and keep
the trial version indefinatly. To stop pages from
expiring, go into tools, internet options and make certain
security and privacy settings are at default(medium) level
and that you regularly us disk clean up to empty temporary
internet files. In advanced check of java console enabled
and allow intergration between pages which both require a
restart. Check them both and restart along with all the
https. Hope it helps.
