Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 for Windows XP

All of the sudden I have begun having trouble with Internet Explorer
displaying content on web pages. I don't seem to be having a problem with
graphics but with text. When I access pages such as Ebay and Microsoft.com
only part of the page comes up. I tried to reinstall Internet Explorer but
it wouldn't let me. What do I do???

does a brown fist appear momentarily where your mouse pointer is?

I have this same problem. There is no brown fist on my mouse pointer. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Here is a 'for instance' website, where I was trying to print out a pdf file from Symantec. NO pdf files show up any more; I have to download them, then open them from Windows.

Ah, I just found a website that explains some possible problems, and one of them worked! I had to uninstall all versions (I apparently had 3) of AR, then download the latest, this now is 7.0, and check for updates to it. And it now works!

Thanks for the 'listening ear'; sometimes just putting thoughts on paper, as it were, is enough to jog the brain into figuring out or finding a new way to solution!
