I am using Windows XP Professional on a dell precision
340. Internet Explorer hangs when I open a new window,
whether it is from within an already existing window or
one opened from my desktop. I followed the Microsoft
Knowledge Base article - 281679, but it did not resolve
the problem. Once the window is open I am free to browse
without any difficulty as long as I don't get any pop-ups
or try to open a new window. I have noticed that if I
disconnect my network connections or disable them, then
the window comes up. I can then enable the network
connections and use the opened window.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
