Everytime I go to a webpage all the pics on the page look hazy? I'm unable to
view the pics clearly. Another problem is that when I go to my Yahoo e-mail
and I try to compose a message it doesn't display a text box to type a
message? I e-mailed yahoo tech support and they said there's something wrong
with my manage add-ons. I disable each one and it didn't fix the problem can
anyone please help or know where I can get help? Thank you.

Hi Gaby :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, which really is a
must when asking for help in the newsgroups, but, try the following as it
may apply
to your OS and see if it helps:

First - If you have an accelerator supplied by your ISP try turning it off.
It works by reducing image size (and therefore quality) for downloads.

Try clearing the IE cache. IE>Tools>Options>General>Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

Zone Alarm Pro can block Images in IE

1. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom level>reset custom
level to Medium or Low
2. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>set the slider to Medium or Low
3. Go to this site and read on adjusting the Privacy settings in ZA. It will
explain how to customize on a per site basis.

Go to Tools> Internet Options> "Advanced" tab> then scroll down to
"Multimedia," it should be towards the bottom of the window. There should
be a field that says "Enable Automatic Image Resizing". Uncheck this.

Update Video Driver
If you don't know the location of your Video driver, or how to find it:
Location for XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q314854
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/games/learnmore/updatingdrivers.mspx
or......
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q314854
Find the information on your video driver. Then go to the website for mfg.
of the video driver and look for the update to download and install. There
may also be a Update Driver button on the dialog box you can use to go
direct to the update download site.

also..

Try reducing hardware acceleration for images:
Right click on the Desktop on an open area,
Properties>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot
Move the slider back to the left a little and test to see if that helps.
Try it at increments until you get all the way to the left end to see if
that helps.

If still no joy.....

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure the box "Show Pictures"
is
ticked.

Hope this helps.
