internet explorer 5.0 downlad pics file type

when down load picture on web will download as bitmap
will not download as jpeg is there way to make ie do so

The file you are downloading is a .bmp you cant force it
to be a .jpg. but you can convert it to a .jpg using a
converter such as irfanview.. http://www.irfanview.com
 
Internet Explorer Does Not Save Graphics Files in the Proper Format:

Clear the Temporary Internet Files and all will be OK
