Hi Experts,

I remember about a year ago reading about very simple devices -
not much more than a tiny typewriter and an internet connection.

They would send and receive emails and could browse the Internet
and might serve as a small Internet radio or TV.

The people I am thinking of giving them to are those who almost
faint at the
sight of a computer. The devices must be very simple.

I did some searches but could not find the right search words to
find
them.

Would appreciate info.

TIA

Careful, I'm about to say it:

WebTV (now MSNTV)

Any good smart phone will do email, browsing, and a load of other Internet
functions. If you could get along with email only, there is a device called
Peek which seems as if it would be easy -- looks like an e-book reader
actually.

Thank you UCLAN and John.

Will look into both soon.

Have a great week :-)
