internet connections wizard

When entering internet wizard and get to the name entry i
get the following message
"Connection to *99***4# is not a valid name. The entry
name must contain at least one character that is not a
space and cannot begin with a period . Choose a different
name.
I does not matter what i call this connection it still
comes up with this message

I had the same problem after installing W2K SP4, and the
way I solve it, was reinstalling Internet Explorer 6 SP1.
