Hey i recently installed a dsl modem and it was working
fine all day and i turned it off for the night. i turned
the computer on the next morning and i was no longer
connected with the internet. i trouble shot with verizon
for a long time( modem power reboots, ip address config,
ect) and they cant figure out the problem. they think they
rulled it down to my ip address. in my network connections
they told me to repair the ip address, but when i click
repair it says it fails and i should contact my isp
provider. what am i supposed to do? i still cant get on
the internet and my modem and everthing works fine. they
says its something with my ip address and i have powered
off and on nearly a hundred times. any feedback or remote
possiblities to help solve this type of problem will be
greatly appreciated.
