Internet connection

I recently got DSL internet connection. When I had a
regular 56K modem, I could use the radio tuner and media
guide when I was online to play music. Now that I
changed, the media player does not detect that I am
online. How do I change that?

I have a similar problem with Microsoft Media player when
I try to update the names on playlists. Can anyone
answer jenna's question?
