Internet connection

I Have Charter .net,During the day it loses internet connection and have to
reboot. It says Host Mail Charter not found, I have already changed the
power settings to never turn off Help I have XP Home ed.

Do you have a USB network card by chance? Here is a shot in the dark. Go to
device manager/USB controllers/USB Root Hub/and click on the power
management tab. Uncheck the box that says something about let computer shut
off device to save power. Do it for every USB Root Hub you find. This has
helped me with USB problems a couple times.
Also network cards have a power saving thing to uncheck just like the USB
hub. You might check that as well. Look in network connections, and look for
the NIC/properties and drill to the power management tab.
