I have a small network of 6 PC's and 1 Windows 2000
Server and I would like to connect the netwrok to the
internet. However the only connection I can get to the
Internet is a dial up connection at 56K. I cannot use ICS
as the Server is running Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.

Can any of the other clients be the ICS host? If so then you can disable
DHCP on the server and assign it a static IP.

If this cannot be done, then you can use NAT on the server. As far as I
remember it does not interfere with any other networking functions....

Otherwise you can always install a 3rd party proxy software on the server.
Personally I would go for NAT on the server.
