Internet Connection Wizard

I have changed the motherboard and had to repair the Windows 2000
installation using the original CD from the year 2000.

Everything works fine except the Interconnection wizard. I get the message
"Connection to ***** is not a valid name" I get this message even when ****
is the suggested name from the wizard.

Help please - many thanks Any method of getting on line
 
Check Event Viewer for errors. Check Device Manager for error codes and or
non-starting devices.
