When I try to make a new conection, everything is good until step 3 "Connection Name:" It doesn't matter what name I use even accepting the default I get the error: "Connection to 4444444" is not a valid name. The entry must contain at least one character that is not a space and connot begin with a period. Choose a different name.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Certain things cannot being with a number. Try an alpha character.

.
Beenie, I am having the same problems after I have
patched my system. I remember last time I went through
this, I found an article that said it was a known bug and
you had to do a total reload. Create a dial connection
with the basic system. Then start to patch. I am looking
for that bug now as I have another machine that I have the
same problem.
