I have been using the code
DoCmd.SendObject acReport, stDocName

to send email messages without any problems. All of a
sudden, I'm now getting a popup for the Internet
Connection Wizard. I have no idea what could have changed!
Running Access 2002 on Windows XP and Outlook 2002.

Christine,
I think you may have a Windows problem more so than a Send Object
problem.
Check your settings in Outlook 2002. I use Outlook Express, and there
is a configuration option... "This application is the Default Mail Handler
application. Outlook should have something similar.
SendObject uses the Windows "default" Mail app, so I suspect you've lost
that definition somehow. Since you don't have a "defult" mail handler,
Windows brings up the Internet Connection Wizard.
By the by... did you go through the Internet Connection again to see if
anything had changed? If the Connection Wizard was wiped out, did you
create one? Particulary check the Programs tab, where you tell Windows what
your Email program is.

I had the same problem. Did the suggestion to set the default in Internet Options of Internet Explorerr work for you? I am just starting to use this SendObject capability and only ran into the problem on older user NT boxes set in IE to rund Outlook Express as the default but I was wondering what happens if they have say Netscape??
