Internet connection via LAN? XP => Win 2K

The computer with the direct internet connection runs XP. The other computers
are connected via a LAN cable and are running Win 2K Pro.

I am able to "see" all computers on the network on all of the other
computers, and so assume that the network is alive and well. However, I am
trying to access the internet on the Win 2K machines via the LAN connection
(to the Win XP machine). When I open either browser (Firefox and IE) the
browser is unable to find an internet connection.

I ran the Internet Connection Wizard, telling it that I am connecting via a
LAN. It installs and finishes, but then still won't connect to the internet.

It worked briefly on one of the connected computers, but then inexplicably
stopped.

I am hoping you can tell me how to do this easily!
