someone please advise if I can enale thiss for certain
computers only on my network or is it that all computers
in the network can automatically connect net thorugh my
computer?
Using the default network settings, all other computers on the network
can connect to the Internet through your computer when you enable ICS
on your computer.
To prevent another computer from accessing the Internet, while still
being able to share files and printers on the network:
1. Assign the TCP/IP settings manually on that computer:
IP Address: 192.168.0.x (1<x<255)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: none
DNS Server = none
2. Have the users of that computer log on using Limited accounts, not
Administrator accounts, so that they can't change the TCP/IP settings.
