Internet connection sharing

I have established ICS on a 5 computer network using a
dial up connection toan ISP. Enabled demand dialing. now
the connection dials all the time. Even when no one wants
to cottect the modem will dial connect. It will then
disconnect because there is no activity then within 2 min
it will start the cycle all over again.
Does anyone have a solution?

Hello George

I've been fighting this problem for some time also. Do you have any
programs from the wonderful world of Symantec? If so, and if you are
set up for Auto Live Update, disable it. My problem all gone. Please
let me know if this helps.

Make sure the dial up connection is not setup to automatically dial,
there is a setting in the dial up connection that can be causing it to
attempt to re-connect.
