I have posted this to a number of newsgroups regarding my inability to
enable Internet connection sharing. I have no hardware conflicts. I have
legal copies of the os on all of the computers (three) and it worked before
in XP home. It is not working in XP Pro.

I have tried many times and many ways to get it to work and Microsoft has
been of no help at all.

If there is anyone out there that an be of help I will be eternally grateful
..

My configuration is as follows.

My host which is a dell Dimension)computer has two nics. One nic is
connected to the RCA cable modem. (It works) It is a 3Com
One NIC is a broadcom. That Network card (NIC) is connected to the HUB. It
is not a router. It is a hub!

I can access files on the other computers and they can do likewise! We can
share printers with no problems (except when someone forgets to put paper
into the printer)

I have tried to install ICS by using the Internet connection wizard with no
luck and have tried to enable internet connection sharing by the other
available Microsoft ways.

I keep getting error messages. Help

The client computer(with XP PRO) has two nics connected to the hub and the
other one (with 98) has 1 nic attached to the hub . These are wired
connections and they are all working, except I can not share my internet
connection

Thats not to tough to deal with, open control-panel,internet connections,
L.click the device,go to file, properties, chk the box, enable file and print sharing
for microsoft networks, then click install. Theres one in windows components also
but i believe its for linux.
