Hi Rocky,
First thing to do is to run an ipconfig /all at a command prompt on both machines and make
sure all settings and info is the same for both machines (except for the computer name, IP and
MAC address). the rest should be basically identical. Sounds like one machine may have
something statically configured differently than the other.
Another thing to check is your antivirus settings and make sure they are the same on both
machines. One may have some type of firewall installed/configured and that may cause
some issues like you are seeing. Same with the anitivirus with one set to scan network traffic
and the other not.
