I troubleshoot weeks but not successful. I tried to install DNS from my windows 2000 professional like as follows:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Add and Remove Windows Components.
  4. The Windows Components Wizard starts. Click Next.
  5. Click Networking Services, and then click Details.
  6. Click to select the Domain Name System (DNS) check box, and then click OK.
Here I don't have DNS option check box. I cannot able to continue further..
I don't know how to fix it. Please help.
The reason why I worry about this E drive ... Because I have my programming stuffs are installed and doing all my work in this drive. I don't want to re-start my programming stuff in the other drive...

Re:

You may have to add services and components to the ethernet adapter driver. If you have a disk provided by your service provider you may solve the problem this way.I would also reload IE6.You can save IE6 locally also and reload it from a local drive.
