internet connection firewall

I want to enable the firewall for my dialup connection
with peoplepc. When I click "change settings of this
connection" or properties, nothing comes up. I am the
only user on the computer so I have owner login
authority. Don't know what else to do.

internet options>advanced, down to firewall check box.
however if ya want a better firewall look up outpost on
the web, its free.

There is no firewall check box, and outpost isn't free.
I don't think I'm just not seeing it either. Any other
ideas?

Could be your IP doesn't allow to enable the XP firewall.
I have the same problem with AOL but can enable it with
other providers.
