Internet closes immediatly!

If I type in google "western digital hard drive" the
whole internet closes and i go to desktop. Many times,
when I open internet explorer, it won't respond, then i
click the "X" and everything refreshes to the desktop.

why is this happening, how do i fix it???

 

[IE is closing for no reason]

Within the last 24 hours my IE closes for no reason at
all. This has happened while I am on match.com,
zone.msn.com and comcast.net - there doesn't seem to be a
pattern or reason! What the heck is going on!

Same thing started happening to me yesterday, too.

I went to do a search for "Moscow Russia" using Yahoo! and
when the search results finished loading, the browser
vanished. I tried other expressions, some work and some
cause the browser to close, every time. If I hit the stop
button before the page finishes loading, I can prevent it
from shutting down. I then tried the search engine at MSN
and the same expressions caused the same behavior. I
suspect something is monitoring the html source of the
page for keywords and closes the browser when it finds
one. Netscape has not been affected.
