I cannot browse the internet when I'm connected to the
network and the modem. How do I resolve this issue?

thanx...

Do you have TCP/IP connectivity? Test by using ping. Can you ping your
default gateway? Can you ping any Internet servers by IP address? Can you
ping your DNS server? Can you ping www.yahoo.com?

And if you cannot ping, or even if you can:
(Some firewalls block ping but that isn't likely your problem.)

Can you use http://216.109.118.64 to reach yahoo.com
or http://161.58.177.171 to reach MY Web server?

If you can reach the above, then you have a NAME resolution problem (It
works by
IP but fails by name.)

If you have a name resolution problem you probably need to set your client
to use
your ISPs DNS server (unless you run a private DNS server internally which
isn't
likely from your question.)
