Internet Ad Sounds

When in an internet page that has an embedded ad, each time the advert loads
or changes, I get a very annoying 'bubble pooping' / 'beep' sound. I have
tried disabling various sound functions, but can't find a solution.

Turn off ad blocking.

Hi Jill,
Try the following;
On the IE Page click on the Menu Tools >> Internet Options >> Privacy Tab
and click under the Option labled at the bottom of Privacy window Pop-ups
Blocker click on settings Button and there uncheck the check Box;
[ ] Play a sound when a pop-up is Blocked. uncheck this box.
Click Ok to confirm your changes and close the IE properties window and Hit
F5 to refresh.
Next time try the page which have the Ad Banner and see if you will hear a
sound.
