Hi,

Earlier we were using outlook express where address book was being used thru
Active Directory.IAF (Internet account file) now i have configured my id on
Microsoft Outlook;

if i want to use same file for address book wht do i need to do.

please help me.

will apprecieate tele-talk on this.

my cell no. is +91-9860641212

you'll need to set up an ldap address book in Outlook. Outlook doesn't use
iaf - use it with Vista's Mail and if outlook can't import it, you can copy
the configuration information from Mail to Outlook.

Please let me know the process for copying configuration form express to MS
outlook. but i just want to copy that address which usually being stored on
active directory file seems our company updates daily that file globally.

regards,

rahul

open it in OE, then open outlook. if outlook offers to import, import it. if
not, copy the settings from the acct in OE and enter them in Outlook.

Once you connect to the AD using LDAP you'll see whatever updates they make
to the AD.

I have done account settings from Outlook express to Microsoft Outlook. but
now remained only Active Directory;

what is the solution on this in Microsoft Outlook? what is AD in outlook?

thanx in advance for favor.

As Diane said, Outlook accesses AD using LDAP.
