I installed an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 4 days ago and now I am having great
difficulty accessing the web. I can connect to my local ISP and access email
and newsgroups with OE6 but IE6 cannot find any web sites ( this pages
cannot be displayed error). If I delete the Dialup networking icon, reboot ,
and reinstall dialup I can access the web about one in four trys. My ISP
says there is nothing wrong with my internet settings and that the problem
must be the last change I did to my computer ( ATI board and catalyst
software). The computer is an ASUS CUV4X motherboard, 256 ram,WIN ME.
Anybody ever have a similar problem?

seems unlikely but who the hell really knows.....uninstall and check it out....let us know could be interesting.

Looks like the problem is solved. The Nvidia uninstaller left a file behind.
Once this was removed then things became normal again. +++

That is as normal as a windows PC will ever get!
