Internect Connection Firewall & Printer Sharing Problem

I recently followed the MS recommendation to turn on the internet connection
firewall in XP as protection against the "Blaster" worm and now I can't
print on my network printer connected to another computer on the network. It
alternates between a printer problem error message and a permission error
message.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. The only way I can get it to print
now is to remove the firewall protection.

The built in XP firewall is NOT designed for use on PCs on a network.

If you need firewall protection on a network, use a hardware router..... or
something like ZoneAlarm on each individual PC.

Mike, I have the same problem. Please e-mail me if you get
a solution for that. Although I believe setting the two
in a "network" would solve the issue, but I think this
would be overkill since I only have one computer and one
printer!
