internal vs. external tape autoloaders

is there any kind of advantage to have the autoloaders in external or
internal form?

from what I can tell, an internal autoloader would draw power from the
pc power supply.

on the other hand, an external autoloader has its own power supply and
can be easily disconnected from the PC and can be relocated in an emergency.

That pretty much summs it up. I would go for external.
