Internal Processing error on NTDS Database

Hi,

I sometimes get an 1168 with the following message 2Error
8430(20ee) has occurred (Internal ID 20612ee). Please
contact etc". I cannot find any reference to this. I
have rebooted without problem in recovery mode and cannot
find a problem. Any thoughts?

Hi, I have the same problem in the moment. I had restarted our server
two times without shutdown. One week after our server got the same
problem.

Have you got an solution?

Hi there,

DSRM was initially tried...however, whilst the original
problem was happening on both servers on a daily basis it
has only happened once on one and not at all on the other
for the past 15 days. It doesn't seem to be causing a
problem (only paranoia on my part)and may indeed be
fixed. I just don't like seeing what appears to be a
fundamental kind of error message.

My suspicion is that the source of the problem (instinct
only) lies in the upgrade path taken - neither of
the "servers" originally upgraded as part of a disaster
recovery effort exist any longer on our network. The
strange thing is that this error has never occurred on our
test exchange server (5.5) under win2k even though it was
present throughout and was upgraded in a similar way...I'm
sorry that I have been unable to come up with any flash of
insight yet. If I do, I'll certainly let you know. Good
hunting.
