internal link on a 'package for CD' presentation

In our CD autorun presentation, there are links on every page. Some are
internal that carry the person to another page in the presentation; some are
links to pdfs; others are links to the Web. If the person clicks anywhere on
the screen that isn't a link, he or she will get transported to another page
in the presentation (usually the following page, I think). Is there a way to
program a little pop-up dialog box that says "Click on a hotlink"?

Are you just trying to prevent a click on the screen advancing the slides.
If so and you have links on every page you can choose slide show menu > set
up show > Browsed at a Kiosk (fullscreen)

If you place a full screen 99% transparent filled shape behind the other
link buttons you can add a triggered pop up with a message of your choice (XP
onwards needed for triggers). There's more info on triggers here:
