internal hard drive

xp recovery cant detect internal hard drive also low virt. memeory. any help for a rookie???
 
Starting with what happened or what youre trying to do would help
Virtual memory can be edited by R.clicking my computer,properties
advanced,performance,virtual-memory,change,min should be 1 1/2
ram memory,max is at 3 X ram.However letting windows manage is best
either way,after setting,click the set button 2X,then close out.If youre i
recovery,type:CHKDSK C: /R That repairs C: drive or the drive with window
on it,you can also type:HELP For all cmds in recovery.
