internal error 2502/3

more information on problem, when trying to install or
uninstall any program the error message is appearing for
instance when trying to run microsoft updates program from
web error message appearing also when trying to uninstall
xp and reload error also appearing can anybody help?
 
Go to Start > Run and type: WINVER , and hit enter.
What Build version is shown......2600?
