Intermittent Write Problems?

My users suddenly began experiencing intermittent failures when writing to
drive shares. They will receive one or both of the following error messages:


The save failed due to out of memory or disk space

The disk is full or too many files are open..

The shares have plenty of space available and there is not a writes issue. I
am running Win2k SP4. I do not see anything in the logfiles which would
trigger such a problem.. There are a few warnings but they look fairly
harmless. Any ideas?

I'm getting the same message on various machines. This just started
today and I have no idea what could be causing it. No changes to the
network or workstations have been implemented in a good while.
HELP!!!
