I think this is a routing issue.
We run ftp processes from our win2000 machine and it only works about
80% of the time.
It does resolve the IP address properly but about 1 out of every 5
tries to either ftp or tracert, it fails to connect.
The ftp simply returns "Not Connected", while the failed tracert will
display the destination address and then time out on everything else.
It doesn't even tell us which address it's trying to get to when it
times out.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
