Using Office07, SQL Server 2005, Windows7(all with the latest patches/SPs,
etc)...
I am getting intermittent (and all too frequent) errors as described below.
Occurs with ADP projects on a SQL Server back end and with MBD databases
where the front and back end are in one place. They only occur on a machine
running Vista or Windows 7 (just upgraded to 7 thinking that may solve the
problem, but it didn't). 40+ users on XP machines here never have a problem.
The errors happen randomly, but occur at least 2-3 times each day. My
suspicion is that the two errors are related in some way.
The first error is, when trying to open a database or when compiling code, I
get "Your network access was interrupted. To continue close the database, and
then open it again".
The second error is, when saving a front-end (forms, code, etc), I get "Save
operation failed". Then I have no choice but to close (without saving) and
reopen. A drag if I've made a lot of changes...
I have searched multiple forums for this and found quite a few threads on
the subject, but have not found one with a solution.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
