Intermittent Connection Problems

We use a WatchGuard SOHO firewall and the latest Win 2K
Server SP's. From only certain external machines, we get a
connection error. The machines that work seem to work all
the time externally. We get the generic "Remote Desktop
Disconnected" error: The client could not connect to the
remote computer. Right now, it's working from one of the
known problem machines. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

See if you can run a consistent ping to the terminal
server and/or a consistent telnet session to port 3389 of
the terminal server.

telnet <ip_address_of_terminal_server> 3389
