Intermitted DNS problem with internal website

We run a local webserver on our network. We have serval sites each with at
least one DC that runs DNS. At only one site we get time-outs when we access
that internal website one of every 5 attempts. It seems like a small problem
but it is creating a lot of problems.

Any suggestions on how to solve?

DNS or web server timeouts?

DNS makes little sense, as after the first you would
be in cache on the client probably.

Web timeouts sounds like multiple web servers with
round robin so you get a different web server to connect
but again, you should be still on #1 from cache.

Describe exactly what is happening and we will have more
of chance of helping....

nslookup, etc.
